before accepting the matrix offer, I tried searching for blogpost about life in matrix but there weren't much
so here I am (yea i know I'm late for a year) blogging about my life in matrix

was just thinking why not when I decided to go for it
thought I should be fine being so far away from family
also thought the life there shouldn't be too bad after talking to Huiwen
I mean I don't know I might be overestimating myself that time but I survived anyway

Lucky me, my application for transfer was approved after spending 3 days in KMK
I was really prepared to call this place my home for the next 10 months
was trying my best to remember the rules, meet new friends, definitely stepping out of my comfort zone
but yea I left and went to KMS

it's so much nearer to my house
I almost went back every weekend in the first semester
it's so much newer compared to KMK
I was so thankful when I saw the toilet for I'd seen worse in KMK
it's so different from KMK
I cried when the students were asked to get the timetable from their class monitor and I had totally no idea which class I was in

one thing that made me happy on my first day in KMS was that I got a room on the first floor of the building hoho it's so strategic
and also meeting some old friends from seksyen 4
it was quite sad to be the only from seksyen 4 in KMK

seriously god knows how terrific it was to be in this new place I was not mentally prepared for

it didn't feel good to a transfer student
everything was new
roommates, classmates, friends, lecturers
but I guess I was lucky again as this experience turns out to be one of the best memories

I have got the best roommates I could ever asked for
I've elaborated enough about this in the last post

from DKB to classroom to library to lab to Andromeda

Starting with awkward situations among us, but the ending was fantastic for us. Although we differ by races and religions, we finally get the same frequency and make the last two weeks so much fun with the greatest interference ever.

I am slow in making friends
have always been
but matrix definitely shortens the time taken
everyday we are with our friends even when we're sleeping (roommates are friends right lol)
it's like when you accelerate your Sim to socialise with another Sim lol
soon their friendship score would hit max

everyone has something I'd never had, knows something I'd never heard of
so glad to have met them
that night before the last paper

and I think that's enough to tell how good they are
can't mention every one of them
but here's Puan Maizuyah who I can't thank enough

thanks to Sir Nik for leading the photography club
was feeling weird when the timetable showed our koku class at 12-2pm

until the matrix offer came

they were really friendly
not sure if they still remember me
this girl who came and left
not sure if anyone replaced me
took the bed that was supposed to be mine for 10 months
they're the witness when I cried after I accidentally deleted all my photos and songs from my phone that first night in KMK hah
luckily one of them bought the kain batik(KMK rule - to wear batik every thursday) from me or I would have to bring a kain batik which is basically useless to me to KMS lol

it's faith too to have met
even if it's only for such a short while

then to KMS I went
Liyana was the only one in the room when I arrived
both of us were so shy and awkward
hah out of nowhere this girl suddenly appeared and claimed to be the third residence of the room
bet this is what Liyana was thinking that time

Then it was Isha who I only got to meet the night before classes started
if not mistaken I spoke to her in Malay and she spoke to me in English when we first talked to each other
and so we, one in Science module 1, one in module 2, one in Accounting, became roommates

can't remember the exact date
Kak Iqa moved in with us later
from 3, Vega T1.06 had 4 girls now

thanks to the pink curtain we had

like at home, everyday I went back to them
told them stories in class, complained about studies and homework, gossiped about the boys who were playing futsal in the field outside our window
and together went through those lazy mornings, sleepy evenings, hungry nights
enjoyed food from Pasar Ramadan, cooked instant noodles including Ho Fun and Mi Fun, ordered burgers and takeways from outside

can't forget those nights we spent talking about ourselves, to realize how similar our stories could be
watched movies and dramas, to giggle and cry for the characters
rushed to the window to watch the fireworks from afar on New Year eve
decided to leave the books aside and play princess role playing with our blankets instead
applied facial masks and tried new slimming workout we found

was already used to
waking up to EXO's Growl, Liyana's alarm which always woke us up before herself
singing along to Kak's playlist when she's studying
saying goodnight and "fighting" to Isha who always stayed up working and ended up listening to my sleep talk and sleep sing

Liyana's Penang Malay words and pronunciation, her being "tak larat" after a long nap, her love for her strawberry plushie
Isha my listener for all the stories, her being gelabah even after she's prepared so much for exam, her dilemmas and her dreams
Kak's funny conversation with her brother, her friends who always visited her and gave us food haha, her hobby of teasing Liyana that ended up as a chase and catch in the room with a plushie being thrown from one end to another
